June Scotch Club: Wolfburn

Get your wolf pack together for our upcoming tasting session from Wolfburn Distillery.

Made by hand, without haste, and using only the finest ingredients makes Wolfburn whiskies smooth and beautifully balanced. The distillery's location on ancient grounds (the largest expanse of blanket peat bog in Europe) equally plays an important role in influencing the character of Wolfburn’s single malts.

For this tasting you’ll be treated to a cocktail on arrival followed by these delightful non chill-filtered drams :

Northland : matured in American oak quarter casks. Sweet, nutty tones come to the fore. Grapes and honey in the background. A hint of dried fruit and spice to finish.
Aurora : aged in a combination of ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks. Upfront floral tones, with spice and vanilla. Sweetness coats the palate, with fruit and nut flavours leading to a warm, soft finish.
Morven : made from malted barley infused with smoke during the drying process. Floral notes followed by raisins and spice. Malty flavours open up on the palate, with soft honey smoke on the finish.
Batch 128 : first ever small batch whisky by Wolfburn. Matured in half-size, first fill, ex-bourbon barrels. Subtly grassy. Layers of black pepper. Choc chip cookie dough. Hint of smoke. Finished with exotic spice and fresh tangerine.

6.30pm for a 7pm start
Light supper served with 20% off ALL dark spirits after the event

Tickets $69 incl. bf
 

Seats are limited. Tickets are transferable to another person for the same event. 1 tasting per person due to RSA. Must be 18 years or older. No refunds.
