Suntory Whisky 80m Proof 40% ABV (50ml)
Dozens of years had passed since Suntory began creating Yamazaki Single Malt Whisky in the outskirts of Kyoto, based on the dream of Shinjiro Torii, the founder of Suntory, of crafting a Japanese whisky that rivals scotch. In 1937, Kakubin was created as a Japanese whisky tailored to the delicate Japanese palate.
Kakubin has since become the blended whisky of choice for casual drinkers and connoisseurs across Japan.
NOSE Subtle grain and sour dough bread opening sniffs develop into delightful aromas of vanilla and orchard fruit.
PALATE A stimulating blend of biscuit, vanilla and spice.
FINISH Moreish with a touch of honey and pepper on the finish.
