Pedra Branca Sauv Blanc Pet Nat 2018 (SA)
Pét Nat – short for Pétillant Naturel is an age old technique where the juice is fermented and when it approaches dryness (full utilisation of the sugar), the juice is bottled warts and all and finishes fermentation in the bottle. Carbon dioxide is a by-product and since the bottle fermentation is a closed system, the carbon dioxide is contained making the Pet Nat fizzy!
The 2018 Pedra Branca Pét Nat is made from 100% Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc, has had no additions made to it and has undergone a wild ferment. Serve chilled with friends! Don’t worry…the yeast sediment is completely harmless.
